Scion Vineyard & Winery is a small and dynamic family business making its way to the top of artisan winemaking in Rutherglen, North East Victoria. The Vineyard Supervisor role offers the opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated and energetic candidate to join in an exciting growth phase in our business. We have 12 acres of vineyard to maintain during the growing season, with aspects of this role extending to limited winery work during vintage. Delivering premium fruit to our winery and being engaged with this process through to finished wine is the essence of this role. Flexibility of working hours can be negotiated. Other farm work and property maintenance form out-of-season roles, contributing to the growth of this boutique family-owned business. This is a full-time role (including four weeks annual leave & superannuation) with an immediate start or as soon as possible. Working hours are a 38-hour week, variable during vintage and with flexible hours possible. Salary negotiable according to level of experience.

STARWARD is looking for a new distiller to join our team at our Port Melbourne distillery. Our small but growing team is passionate about what they do and take pride in the innovative approach we take to all aspects of our business. We have embarked on a rapid growth trajectory, which will see a significant increase in our production capacity, and our sales throughout Australia and into international markets. Work will be based in production, covering all aspects of whisky production, including brewing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, warehousing and packaging. Other areas of focus will include project based work such as continuous improvement, quality and NPD. The Role Reporting to the Sales Manager, your responsibilities will be to manage and administer sales, encourage growth and help boost our premium image. Permanent cellar hand
The Moncreiffs Winery is a 10,000T contract winemaking facility located in Nagambie, within the Central Victorian growing region. Our largest customer is McPherson Wines, who are today considered to be a very dynamic company, gaining traction in both international and domestic markets. Moncreiffs, is unashamedly modern, we make everything in large batches and the winery itself is streamlined to be a slick, efficient operating facility. Reds are made in Vinomatics or SWAPS, and whites are cool fermented and tank matured, however it’s not all boring, we do work hard, but we also try to have fun along the way! We are searching for a full time, permanent cellar hand to join our dynamic team. The role is a very hand’s on position encompassing all areas of cellar work including bottling, barrel work, blending, filtration and of course vintage! Working amongst a tight knit team, the position involves some shift work all year round; however is typically a 40 hour week outside vintage, with extended hours during the harvest period. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and driven, ideally with some cellar hand experience and a positive attitude to learning on the job. Winery Laboratory Technician
Haselgrove Wines is situated in McLaren Vale, one of South Australia’s premier wine regions. The state of the art winery produces premium wines for the Haselgrove brand from McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills as well as various small to medium sized producers on a contract basis. Haselgrove Wines are currently seeking to recruit a Laboratory Technician. Reporting directly to the Senior Winemaker, the successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the laboratory operations at Haselgrove winery including both its own brand and the contract side. The position requires shift work/weekend work in the vintage period (generally late January through to April) with standard (and potentially flexible) working hours Monday to Friday outside of this period. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Management of day-to-day laboratory operations including all chemical analysis • Implementation of routine analysis procedures • Planning, organisation and prioritisation of analysis required in consultation with winemakers • Method development and maintenance • Ensure safety procedures are up to date and followed • QA/QC of laboratory, including accurate data entry • Timely preparation and dispatch of trade samples • Fruit maturity sample analysis during vintage • Ordering of laboratory supplies and consumables • Consultation with clients regarding contract analysis
